I’m delighted to announce that I’ve started a new job as Social Media Online Manager at Knauf Interfer SE and what a warm welcome it’s been! The first month on the job has flown by in a flash 🚀Although extremely sad to leave the DMT GROUP and TÜV NORD GROUP family after 12 fantastic years, I’ve been lucky enough to swap one marketing dream team for the next and couldn’t have asked for a better welcome to the company.With a deep dive into the group structure, operations and strategy, introductory meetings with business unit managers, Sales, ESG & CSR management, and other departments and a tour of the factory, the onboarding process has been a whirlwind of learning, but also fantastically organised. And let's not forget all the great Knauf Interfer goodies – one of the perks of being in marketing! 😉But above all, the positive working atmosphere in Duisburg and the friendliness and supportive nature of all the colleagues I've met so far have made it a great start. They say "#charity begins at home", but what about those without a home? 🏠 It was an absolute pleasure to join volunteers from the FairSorger e.V. charity last week along with 6 of my motivated colleagues to do something good for those in need. The organisation was incredible. Everything was unloaded and carried into the church, all stations were set up, around 80 people were registered, fed and supplied with what they needed, and tables and equipment cleaned, packed and loaded back into the vans in under 3 hours - Credit to the amazing FairSorger team, who do this three times a week all year round 👏 Hot soup and sausages generously funded by TÜV NORD GROUP were well appreciated, especially in last week's cold and windy weather - Compliments to the kitchen! And with so many kind donations from our employees, FairSorger should be able to provide those in need with warm clothes, sleeping bags and toiletries for weeks to come.All in all it was a great experience. Thank you TÜV NORD ❤️ It would be so nice to see other large companies in the Essen area adopt similar schemes. #charitysupport #helpthehomeless
