Roy appears to be falling in the preview, and presumably Wattrel will catch him.

Realistically, only Wattrel's evolution could grab onto Roy and pick him up because Wattrel is too small, unless Wattrel learns a new move that could be used to save Roy. But I have a hard time imagining what move that would be.

Yes, I totally agree with you. It is highly likely that Wattrel will evolve in this episode.

The only other thing I can think of is that Wattrel and Floragato work together to save Roy since she does have the yoyo which she can use to grab him while the others pull him out.

This is the episode where Roy catches Capsakid

I'm not sure if he'll catch this Pokémon since there were no clues (I'll also add that according to the supposed pattern, Dot will get the third catch first).
Besides, how can Roy catch a "pepper" if he doesn't have any pokéballs on him? (although he can get one from Ryme, it is not known for how long she will appear).

Not that I’m saying that I think Roy will get Capsakid, but I don’t really get this whole argument about Roy not be able to catch something because he doesn’t have any pokeballs as if this somehow a strong argument against a capture, when it’s not.

Look at the end of the day if Liko, Roy, or Dot are going to catch a specific Pokémon then they are going to either already have a Pokeball on them or they will get one somehow and worse to worse said Pokémon can just follow them back if it has to.

Like this whole “oh “x” character can’t catch “x” Pokémon because they don’t have any poke balls” like that’s somehow going to magically prevent them from getting said Pokemon is absolutely ridiculous.

You misunderstood me.
What I meant was that when Liko, Roy and Dot wanted to catch something, they always received a pokéball from an adult. Following this, if there is no older person around the children, there is unfortunately no capture (and although Ryme appears, there is no telling how long her screen time will be).

Not even true actually, when Dot caught Tinkatink, Quaxly gave her the pokeball, not any of the adults.

The first time it happened, it was Charizard who gave the ball to Fuecoco.

I forgot about it. However, I still somehow can't imagine how a wild pokémon (Quaxly doesn't count since he was part of the RVT crew) would have a pokéball with him.

It doesn’t matter if you can imagine it or not if they plan on Roy catching Capskid in this episode then he will get a pokeball and catch no matter what even if the whole universe bends over backwards and gives him a pokeball in the most ridiculous way.

This whole Roy not being shown to have poke balls on him is not as big of a problem as your trying to make it sound.

Either way, doubt he is catching a new pokemon in the episode titled after... his other pokemon.

I always thought the idea that Roy couldn't catch a Pokémon because they don't have any Monster Balls was a joke. By now, we can assume they have Monster Balls, as they're official trainers journeying through Paldea with their own tents and supplies? The theme of them being given Monster Balls by adults or Pokémon in the cast is a cute quirk. However, Monster Ball availability has never been a big issue for the cast, so it wouldn't be surprising if they just had them. Friede giving them balls and Roy/Dot their starters always seemed like a nod to his professor role.

But yeah, they're not going to build up a hypothetical Pokémon capture for any character just to say, "You can't catch it because you don't have a Monster Ball." That would be pointless unless it was a specific plot point.

Tyme is a better character than Ryme. Ryme is so boring. Also, I hate rap so that's already a huge minus for me.

Tyme is arguably the most one note character in the game. Don’t see how you could find her engaging over Ryme (or anyone).

The Pokémon anime episode airing Friday May 31st is... episode 52, "Storm Warning for Kaiden!". As Liko, Roy and Dot continue observing wild Pokémon for their report, spicy food connoisseur Roy discovers a Capsaiji.

Three moves I can think of are Tailwind, Hurricane, and Electroweb, with the first two it create the wind to slow down Roy's descent land safety on the ground while the final option can be used as a safety net. But the problem with those options is the location where it all goes down will probably make all of them unfeasible options.

Roy's Kaiden is unable to fly properly in strong wind, so in the middle of the night, while everyone's fast asleep, it secretly sneaks out of the tent to practice flying by itself. Roy and Hogator cheer it on, but Kaiden still looks unhappy...

Lime will appear in the next episode of the Pokémon Anime:
Hakadog comes out of the deep dark night! Lime beats out her cool lyrics! Roy and Hogator are in for a shock! A total boss is here, you can't miss out!
Or in other words, Fridge Town Gym Leader Lime will be appearing in episode 52. Here are some facial expression illustrations of her:

Lime (voiced by Kimiko Saito): A Ghost type Gym Leader as well as a rapper beating out soulful music. She suddenly appears before Roy in the forest at night...?!
